Welcome back Rowan class and a happy new year!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and it’s great to see you are all working extremely hard already! We have a lot to look forward to this term and I can’t wait to find out what you are also looking forward to.
In our English lessons we will be looking at lots of different types of poetry based on different topics I would love for you to bring in any poems you find at home that you enjoy and share them with our class.
In our maths lessons we’ll be looking at lots of different topics such as fractions, money, measurement and statistics. Remember to make sure you complete your maths target every week as this will help you in our maths lessons too!
In Science we’ll be looking at living things and their habitats. Do you know of any animals and where they might live? You might even want to bring a picture (not the animal) in to share with our class.
Well done to all of those children who shared their love of reading over Christmas. Remember to try and read at least three times a week as this will help you when you share stories in class too!
We are very much looking forward to this term and all the exciting things that we will discover! Keep up the hard work!
