Dear Hazel Class,
We hope you have all had a fantastic time over Easter and have managed to enjoy all the sunshine we have been having!
We are so pleased that so many of you are accessing Purple Mash to complete the activities that have been set and to keep in touch with us and each other. You have all been working so hard on your reading and writing!
I have been particularly impressed with your work in Maths. You have remembered how to find the area and perimeter of shapes and have begun to work with decimals and fractions (Even including money!).
Your daily activities are starting to be set for you again now. Remember that every day will have a Maths, English and a different Topic activity for you to complete.
Some 2Do’s won’t be ‘handed in’ because they are games. Don’t panic! The score gets sent to me even if you don’t have a hand in button to press.
Don’t forget to be practising your spellings and times tables every day! There will be a special prize for these when you return to school! Make sure you are reading books you enjoy from home and on Purple Mash every day too, it’s very important!
Remember that you still have access to our Hazel Class Blog and 2Email to keep in touch. I have loved seeing the posts and comments you have been making to each other over the past few weeks. You can post anything on the Blog to share with the class. Some of you have put up lovely pictures of the work you have been doing at home!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!
Take care – We miss you lots!
Mr Parker and Mrs Smith
